Paul Hellard is a professional journalist and editor. He is the former editor and features writer at CGSociety.org. He was also the Global Artist Liaison, and Assistant Editor (then Co-Editor) of the wide range of digital art books from Ballistic Publishing. He's written hundreds of popular articles working from his home in Melbourne.
Paul has also written for other industry magazines in his native Australia as well as wrangling comedy scripts and coordinating the Picture desk at The Age broadsheet.
He’s shot TV news, documentaries and a bunch of TVCs. In fact, with a varied career as sound recordist, focus puller, camera assistant and production manager in film and TV behind him, Paul Hellard has broadened out from the television industry and focuses on writing about his passionate interest in the Internet, cinema and digital arts.
